I use Apple cider vinegar on my heartburn and it works very well. It sometimes comes back though so it wouldn’t call it a cure really. But it really does work to knock out your heartburn for a while, meaning till you eat bad things again. This is a much better remedy that Tums, etc. the ingredients in those tablets will make your feel better but, they neutralize the acid , but you need in your stomach to breakdown food.

I take 1 tablespoon full strength and it works within about 5 minutes to relieve the heartburn. It works better for me than rolaids or that kind of medicine.

i’ve heard that apples and honey works wonders for acid reflux but what really cured my reflux was the acidophilus capsules , you can buy them in any health food store. sometimes the reason for acid reflux is that you have lots of BAD bacteria in your digestive system and your body tries to get rid off it by secreting more acid but as soon as you introduce that good bacteria ( acidophilus) you restore the balance and NO MORE ACID. try it and quit the pills and scams. cheers!

Simply eat one APPLE per day. That should help keep the Prilosec away… You will be amazed how well this works.

I hate feeling this pain everyday. I’m willing to ry anything. I am taking Omeprazole & 2 Ranitidine daily. If this apple cider vinegar works, I’ll definitely keep at it.

Apple cider vinegar Tabs work the best.. Rx drugs only make that symptoms worst.. trust me.. i had it really bad.. started taking Apple cider vinegar “TABS”.. from GNC and got rid of my acid reflux in about two weeks.. then i only took the tabs PRN; and now im 100% cure.. even if I eat Pasta/pizza..

BTW, I did try the apple cider vinegar w/ some water & honey. My pain stopped almost immediately!

don’t understand this cure. not saying it doesn’t help people, but i don’t understand the idea. if the idea is that adding ACV to your stomach lowers the pH so your body produces less stomach acid, then why doesn’t that work if you add other acids? like other vinegars or soda (pH ~ 3)? same is true if you didn’t have enough acid. why wouldn’t any acid work? seems like ppl love this cure, but I can’t find anything that explains what makes ACV special. maybe because enough ppl say so?

so what was ur regimene. U took apple cider vinegar tbs from gnc and the acid reflux is gone. i don’t understand when u say i only took the tabs PRN? what is PRN? ha thanks for your information im trying to clear this up as well.
