I am debetic (type 1)(insulin) Last year i went through a bit of a bad patch and i kept having bad headaches, It could be your blood sugars being too low or most probberly being too high.

Common symptoms of both types of diabetes are:

increased thirst
passing water frequently, especially at night
tiredness and fatigue
loss of weight
genital itching or recurrent thrush

In type 1 diabetes, less common symptoms are:

cramps
constipation
blurred vision
recurrent skin infections

It is caused by Low blood sugars in your body. Check your sugar levels and take control of your diet. BE CAREFULL. Low sugars might be fatal and God Forbids might take you into coma. Always check your sugar levels. That might be every 5 hours.

Variations in blood pressure frequently cause lightheadedness. Low blood glucose also can cause it.

It is good you have a doctor’s appointment. Don’t stress over it tho. Stress can cause lots of other problems too.

Some deep breathing exercises should help too.

Ok, I was diagnosed with diabetes because I was having light- headedness, dizzy spells, and overall weakness in my body. I took a glucose tolerance test that showed I was diabetic. It is possible. But it could be so many other things as well. Just make sure you tell your doctor everything so that he/she can treat you correctly.
