@NatureBoy2007

Dr. Starr says in his book that desiccated thyroid such as Armor Thyroid is superior to Synthroid (synthetic T4).

Dr. Starr notes that Synthroid has never been proven to correct hypothyroidism.

Broda Barnes, MD, author of Hypothyroidism: The Unsuspected Illness, a doctor who spent his entire career studying thyroid, said the same thing.

I just found out today that I my labs indicate that my thyroid was not making enough hormone. My doctor placed me on synthroid. I work out 6 days a week and try to eat good…but could never lose weight….i feel like a zombie most days…i am always bloated….thank god there is finally a reason for my sufferring. I hope the hormone replacment works.

Taking thyroid meds changed my life. I’m no longer freezing, weight loss is easier (not easy, but easier) my desire to stay away from people is gone…… So many doctors know nothing of this. Fortunately I have a great holistic MD in Vegas that is very wise.
